An inclined dewatering machine is the first processing unit in many organic fertilizer and liquid fertilizer plants. It separates livestock manure, biogas slurry, food waste, and other high-moisture organic waste into a liquid fraction and a dewatered solid fraction, which can then be processed separately into liquid organic fertilizer and solid organic fertilizer.

Working Principle

The working principle of the inclined dewatering machine combines gravity filtration and screw extrusion.

  1. Organic waste slurry is collected and mixed in a collection tank to keep the material uniform.
  2. A non-clogging pump sends the slurry to the top of the inclined screen.
  3. The slurry flows down the inclined screen, and the liquid passes through the screen openings by gravity.
  4. Solid particles are retained on the screen surface and move downward by gravity and vibration.
  5. A screw conveyor collects the retained solids and moves them into the extrusion section.
  6. The screw extruder compresses the solids, forcing out additional moisture.
  7. Dewatered solids are discharged from the solid outlet, and separated liquid exits from the liquid outlet.

The separated liquid can be used as liquid organic fertilizer, biogas feed, or irrigation water after further treatment. The separated solids are suitable for composting, mixing with bulking agents, or direct use as solid organic fertilizer.
